Either way, they’re both quick, delicious, and effortless to pull off.
Teriyaki Style Glazed Salmon
Ingredients:
4 wild-caught salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
1/4 cup coconut aminos (like Coconut Secret Soy Free Seasoning Sauce) or tamari or soy sauce
2 tbsp maple syrup
Black and white sesame seeds (for garnish)
Sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions:
Cook the Salmon:
Preheat a cast iron pan over medium heat. Place the salmon fillets in the pan skin-side down. Cook for about 4-5 minutes, or until the fish is about halfway cooked (you’ll notice the color change to a lighter, paler pink on the sides).
Add the Glaze:
Pour the coconut aminos and maple syrup over the salmon. Let it cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, allowing the glaze to slightly thicken.
Simmer the Remaining Glaze:
While the salmon finishes cooking, spoon the remaining glaze over the salmon. Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.
Finish & Serve:
Garnish with sliced green onions. Serve with your favorite side dishes.
This Teriyaki-Style Salmon, with the combination of coconut aminos and maple syrup, is perfectly savory, sweet, and satisfying. Enjoy your quick, flavorful meal!

Herb Crusted Salmon
Ingredients:
4 wild-caught salmon fillets
2 slices sourdough bread
2 tbsp parsley (fresh or dried), finely chopped
2 tbsp mayonnaise (for coating)
1 tbsp butter, cut into small cubes
1/2 tsp lemon zest
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Make Homemade Breadcrumbs:
Toast the sourdough bread until golden and crispy. Once toasted, break the bread into small pieces and pulse in a food processor until you get breadcrumbs. In a bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with parsley, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
Coat the Salmon: Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on top of each salmon fillet. This helps the breadcrumbs stick. Press the parsley breadcrumbs onto the fillet, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
Cook the Salmon: Heat a bit of avocado oil in a large cast iron pan or ovenproof pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if the skin is on) and sear for about 2-3 minutes, until the bottom is golden and the fish is almost cooked through.
Finish in the Oven: Add a small dollop of butter on top of each fillet before transferring the pan to the oven. Switch the oven to broil and broil for 2-3 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.
Serve: Remove the salmon from the oven, garnish with a squeeze of lemon juice, and serve with your favorite sides.

It’s considered one of the most responsible ways to harvest wild salmon.
