A refreshing brunch classic, the Mimosa pairs freshly squeezed orange juice with your choice of sparkling wine, whether it’s Champagne, Prosecco, or non-alcoholic sparkling wine. This easy-to-make cocktail is light, citrusy, and always a crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients:
240ml (1 cup) freshly squeezed orange juice (preferably from Cara Cara or Navel oranges for a sweeter flavour)
240ml (1 cup) Champagne, Prosecco, or non-alcoholic sparkling wine (your choice)
Glassware:
Champagne Flute (ideal for preserving the bubbles and highlighting the effervescence)
Instructions:
Pour the Juice: Start by pouring 120ml (1/2 cup) of freshly squeezed orange juice into each Champagne flute.
Add the Sparkling Wine: Slowly top off each glass with 120ml (1/2 cup) of Champagne, Prosecco, or your chosen non-alcoholic sparkling wine.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
